CHAMOMILE TEA — SOOTHING SPIRIT OF THE WEST

With its wide range of healing actions, chamomile is one of the most distinguished and effective plants in the herbal repertoire of the West, going all the way back to classical antiquity. It has been described, in fact, as the European counterpart of ginseng, so highly regarded that a Slovakian folk saying urges that one should always bow when facing a chamomile plant.

As well, its tranquilizing properties make chamomile the most widely used nerve-relaxing herb in the Western world, ideal for anxiety in all its many forms, especially in children. Stress and tension are often accompanied by stomach upset. Again, chamomile provides an answer by soothing and calming the digestive system. It’s also superb for menstrual complaints.
